Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representatives at MEDITECH focus on supporting a regional sales team in customer acquisition and retention, as well as in navigating the sales engagement process with both new and existing customers. This is an inside sales role for a thoughtful, energetic, highly organized, motivated, well-spoken, and eager individual looking to start in and grow their sales career at a company transforming healthcare on a global scale by providing innovative software and service solutions to healthcare organizations (hospitals, health systems, ambulatory clinics/practices). As a member of our Sales team, your job would involve:


Gaining familiarity with your region’s healthcare marketplace and knowledge of MEDITECH’s broad suite of products and servicesUtilizing outreach methodologies such as cold and warm calling, written communication, and other vehicles such as social media and LinkedIn, to engage with new potential clients as well as existing client organizationsPursuing, as assigned, an understanding of current needs and be able to provide recommendations and support to customers and the regional sales team in facilitating problem or issue resolutionProviding support through the different stages of the Sales Cycle including: initial interest, RFP/RFI management, quoting and proposal generation, meeting and presentation planning, preparation, and coordination, validation, and contractingEngaging in follow-up from marketing campaigns and trade show investments lead management to engage prospective business opportunities, which includes website form submissions and other relevant HubSpot integrationsOccasional travel may be required Requirements Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related work experience (including associated internships)Comfort level making cold calls and talking to new peopleExperience working with spreadsheets, authoring sales-oriented letters, and building sales presentations as well as the utilization of Salesforce, Google GSuite, and quoting and contracting tools as deployedExcellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential and existing customersTenacious, persuasive, and goal-oriented personalityExperience working in a team environment with each member performing different functionsAbility to work under pressure in time sensitive situationsEnergetic, engaging, and friendly demeanorSelf-motivated and self-directedAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAbility to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when engaging the next potential clientStrong tactical and strategic situational awareness along with emotional intelligenceBasic understanding of sales and sales processesStrong desire for a long term career in complex mission critical enterprise solutions and services salesYou may be required to show proof of vaccination when traveling to a customer site unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.

This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
