We’re hiring for a **Sales Development Representative** . **What You’ll Be Doing:** As a Sales Development Representative, you play a crucial role on the team. You are responsible for outbound outreach and building relationships with prospects through education, answering questions, and sending resources. The goal is to connect with a prospect who is a decision maker, to agree to attend a sales presentation. **If you join our team as an SDR you will:** + Identify and evaluate prospects across multiple industries for client requirements. + Develop trusted relationships with prospects to qualify leads. + Engage in efficient and effective sales outreach via multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) to contact prospects and sign them up to attend a sales presentation with one of our Regional Sales Managers. + Use a variety of outbound tactics (cold calling, email, LinkedIn Navigator) to build relationships with prospects and generate new lead opportunities. + Set up meetings and calls between prospects and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). + Utilize Salesloft and keep our CRM (HubSpot and Salesforce) up to date with the most recent prospect and task information. + Report daily, weekly, and monthly, results to the VP of Business Development. **We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent job experience preferred. + 1+ year experience in an outbound sales role preferred. + Very strong drive to be successful. + Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day and not bothered by the word “no”. + Be onsite in the Portland downtown office 3 days a week, or as needed by management + A passion to develop and grow a career in sales. + Thrive in a results-oriented and fast-paced environment. + Comfortable facing prospect rejection to achieve sales goals. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels. + Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple asks concurrently. + A strong sense of initiative for reaching goals and sales metrics. + CRM experience preferred (we use HubSpot and Salesforce). **Additional Information** Advance Local Media offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package with affordable options for your healthcare including medical, dental and vision plans, mental health support options, flexible spending accounts, fertility assistance, a competitive 401(k) plan to help plan for your future, generous paid time off, paid parental and caregiver leave and an employee assistance program to support your work/life balance, optional legal assistance, life insurance options, as well as flexible holidays to honor cultural diversity.
