Sales Development Representative

Support our team culture by working in the office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday). This means you’ll have to live within commuting distance of the office you’ll be working in.

Snowflake is seeking motivated people with a passion for technology and the drive to build an incredible career in SaaS sales. The Sales Development team plays  a critical role in the growth of our organization. Our team works in collaboration with sales and marketing  nurturing leads and setting qualified discovery calls that ultimately lead to new business and new revenue. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU GET TO: 

Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision makers

Research and build new and existing accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by creating/executing strategic email and social campaigns

Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email

Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales and cross functional teams 

Work in a fast-pace environment, take  the initiative to get stuff done, try new things  and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: 

A passion for technology and software sales, 1-2 years of customer facing experience is preferred 

Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external),

A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

The ability to thrive in a company environment of rapid change; reacting to management initiatives; taking the \"customer view\"; adopting customer corporate ‘perspective’; accepting change to business/personal situations

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $75,000 - $89,250. The estimated base salary for this role is $52,500 - $62,475.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
