Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in lead generation and appointment setting within the marketing department. This role involves extensive phone outreach, email campaigns, and potential texting to generate and qualify leads. The SDR should be highly detailed, articulate, and thorough, with the potential to grow into a sales role. This is a direct-hire position with a hybrid schedule after training (initially more in-office).
Salary: $21-$23/hr
Location: South End, Charlotte
Essential Duties:Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively research and identify potential leads through phone calls, emails, and social media.Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings for sales representatives by qualifying inbound and outbound leads.Lead Nurturing: Build relationships with potential customers through follow-ups and personalized communication.Database Management: Track lead interactions, maintain accurate records, and update CRM systems.Sales Strategy Support: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to execute targeted outreach campaigns.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred).2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation preferred.Strong phone communication and email marketing skills.Ability to identify and engage new business opportunities with a "hunter" mentality.Proficiency with CRM software and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
