Sales Development Representative - Internship

Job Summary  

As a Sales Development Intern, you will play a vital role in learning how to generate new business opportunities through strategic lead prospecting and follow up. You will learn how to utilize our current technology stack and tooling to hone your prospecting skills through inbound and outbound motions. Our success is your success. You will support our current SDR’s account list to create Net New Annual Contract Value for the DigiCert One Platform.  

What you will do Researching potential customer’s company structures, industries, and relevant information to identify prospects and feed our database. Conducting outbound calls to provided lead lists and maximizing inbound lead conversion. Participating in targeted lead generation campaigns and defined by management. Accurately logging leads and sales interaction in our CRM system. Meeting or exceeding lead development quotas set by management. Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of DigiCert’s current and future product/service offerings. Collaborating with assigned territory sales teams as needed. Attending team meetings and training sessions as required. What you will have Currently pursuing or obtained a recent Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred). Relevant coursework or experience in marketing, communications and/or business management. Well-rounded with varied interests, background, and experience. Professional, efficient communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (positive and personable). Prior customer service or customer facing experience is a plus. Availability for a full-time, 40 hours per week internship commitment (2 days required in office – Tuesday/Wednesday). Strong organizational and time management abilities. Coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient, with a “get the job done” attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Officer Suite. Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic sales environment. Post internship Opportunities (Upon Vacancy)   The opportunity to continue a future internship. The opportunity to transition to a full-time SDR role upon successful completion of internship.
