Job Description

Team Summary

The Visa Cross-Border Solutions (VXBS) team is charged with leading the design, build, and commercialization of best-in-class flexible enterprise-wide FX, virtual accounts, and currency management solutions as we seek to meet the growing and increasingly diversified needs of clients moving funds around the world. In addition, VXBS includes the commercialization of Currencycloud, our recently acquired cloud-based embedded cross border money movement infrastructure solution and the integration of these capabilities into Visa platforms & solutions. VXBS is a key enabler of Visa’s seamless cross-border commerce. Historically, VXBS has delivered the systems, processes and capabilities to support foreign exchange services for our Issuer and Acquirer Clients around the world, and managed and executed settlement of consumer purchases in 28 currencies every day. As our network and our business expands, including with the introduction of Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (Visa B2B Connect, Visa Direct, and Visa Government Services) and use-cases involving global money movement, rapidly evolving consumer expectations with fintech, wallets and neobanks, new distribution models like open banking demanding API based multicurrency solutions, and new settlement models leveraging crypto beginning to enter mainstream, our capabilities are adapting to meet clients’ needs and support our vision for Visa to be the embedded cross border payments facilitator across a range of use cases – Purchase Flows, New Payment Flows, and Off-Visa Flows.

What a Sales Development Representative does at Visa:

Demand Generation Strategy (approx. % of role breakdown – 25%)

Working with your segment-focused marketing managers and sales consultants, support the creation of a demand generation strategy that meets regional targetsResearching prospects, target personas, and segment landscape to assist with lead scoring and account based marketingBuilding prospect lists of who you will be targeting, using business development toolsThe strategy you build should be defined by clear KPIs and a ROI. Specific campaigns that are built and delivered as part of your strategy should have trackable metrics and align with your overall strategic objectivesYou will own data management for prospecting and be a crucial part of the demand gen meetings to review top of the funnel activity and how we are performing against targets

Demand Generation Delivery (approx. % of role breakdown – 60%)

Delivery of holistic demand generation activity, outbound and inbound lead generationManaging your prospect lists, building and executing campaigns within lead generation toolsQualifying all leads and creating opportunities that are a good fit to be passed to Sales Consultants

Segment Research (approx. % of role breakdown – 15%)

You will endeavour to stay up to date on the industry and businesses within your segments. You will assist with any segment research into areas such as industry trends, latest developments, etc that will assist with developing sales leadsAs segments and propositions become more clearly defined, you will assist with researching prospects in future segments for viability in terms of potential prospects

This position will be the key link to support top of the funnel sales for a given region, working closely with the sales and marketing counterparts on a demand generation strategy that drives both inbound and outbound lead

Qualifications

What you will need:

At least 5 years of experience in the SaaS/payments spaceEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment & thrive within itDelivered demand generation activities, meeting individual and team targetsDelivered a segment strategy resulting in improvement in key team OKRs & KPIsAdhere to team processes and practicesHave a positive winning mindsetAdditional fluency in Southeast Asian languages a plus)Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
