OverviewThe Sales Director position is responsible for leading the Hong Kong Sales team and growing sales from partner / key accounts in their territory, i.e. Hong Kong & Macau. Representatives are responsible for educating their prospects and customer on the benefits of sophisticated ergonomic work tools, and leveraging that knowledge in the sale of our products and services.
Responsibilities Responsible for full spectrum sales and business development activities of assigned regions to meet and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals for our ergonomic workplace solutions.Training, educating, marketing and selling the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to and through partners, key accounts and end users Maintain high level sales activity at all times with minimum of 12 sales appointments per week Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals Develop business plan with management for weekly, monthly and quarterly strategic sales objectives Assess sales representative skill sets and create and maintain individual development plansSet up product tests or demonstrations for end-users / partners / key accounts as necessary Deliver presentations for prospective clients Completing sales activity & opportunity reports, sales order paperwork, installation assistance, and sales training as well as maintaining customer contact database Serves as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality matters Facilitate partner / key account training sessions on ergonomics & Humanscale products Lead strategic business and forecasting discussions with partner / key account principles to meet sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer sales Establishing relationships and educating end-users on ergonomic workplace solutions Strong understanding of all of Humanscale’s products and consulting services, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, sit/stand, lighting and other ergonomic work tools Complete sales activity tracker, pending business and 30-60-90 day forecast reports for your accounts, bookings and invoiced numbers Assess sales probability and forecast revenue expectations Work effectively and efficiently with other Humanscale colleagues to achieve corporate objectives and cross communicate on projects with the A&D, Corporate and BDM teams, avoiding conflicts and ensuring all resources are utilized in maximizing our position in winning sales opportunities Achieve YOY revenue growth from Partners / key accounts QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate will have 8+ years business sales experience within the partner / dealer sector Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and MandarinSuccessful track record of planning and execution Working knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications are required Ability for overnight travel regionally
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus Excellent written and verbal Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities Aggressive follow-up and closing skills
