We’re seeking a Sales Director of Wholesale to lead and grow KREWE’s wholesale business across key markets. This person will oversee strategy, execution, and performance across independent boutiques, optical accounts, specialty retailers, and department stores. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the eyewear industry, is results-oriented, and passionate about developing strong partnerships that reflect KREWE’s commitment to excellence and style.
This role is based in our New York Headquarters 5 days a week.
Key responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & LeadershipEstablish multi-year growth strategies across all eyewear categories and partners including independent retailers, independent opticians and optometrists, specialty chains, department store, and marketplace accountsDevelop and maintain a twelve-month rolling budget of revenue and expenses that syncs with company objectivesEstablish optimum sales territory allocation and evolution as markets mature and evolveManage 15-20 Reps and optimize sales rep structures (independent and in-house), ensuring high performance and brand alignmentResponsible for continuing to develop evolving sales models and account support structureEstablish relationships directly with key accounts and top independent retail partners to best understand their needs and support the sales teamBuild and secure a pipeline of new business development opportunities including accounts and programs that drive expansion including new distribution partners, partnerships, and other opportunitiesLead development of our wholesale loyalty program to incentivize, recognize, and reward top accountsProvide analysis and reporting including but not limited to outreach, sales initiation inbound sales orders, closing sales, reorders and account satisfactionSales OperationsOwn the wholesale calendar: lead planning around sell-in periods, market weeks, trade shows, and business reviewsPartner with Planning and Operations to manage inventory forecasts, product allocation, and wholesale pricing strategyEnsure B2B platform is executed at a high level in brand and product presentation and optimized to support new account acquisition and provides an efficient ordering process and a complete self-service customer experienceDeliver regular performance reporting. Standardize weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports with insights into channel health, opportunities, and risk mitigation plansCross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with Marketing to drive sell-through, support brand storytelling, and ensure POP materials reflect KREWE’s aesthetic and standardsPartner with Customer Experience and Logistics to continuously elevate wholesale service and fulfillment performanceAlign closely with internal planning and finance teams on budgets, targets, and projectionsQualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in wholesale sales leadership with P&L accountability, preferably within the eyewear, fashion, or accessories industryTrack record of delivering continuous growth within the eyewear industry in the North American market, with a preference for leaders who also have international experienceProven track record of growing wholesale revenue and developing top-performing sales teamsProven history for developing and ensuring the success of independent and/or in-house sales reps through hiring and effective sales managementStrong relationships with eyewear/optical industry players and familiarity with major markets and trade channelsProven ability to establish and drive sales processes from pipeline management to acquisition of new accountsDeep understanding of independent retail and specialty accounts, especially in North AmericaExperience in leading wholesale outreach through trade marketing, trade shows, and eventsStrong analytical skills; able to interpret performance data and translate into actionable business plansExcellent communication and presentation skills with ability to represent KREWE with professionalism and enthusiasmHighly organized, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentExisting peer network advocating for KREWE to hire youBenefits and Perks:

This reflects the base salary for this position. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and business needs. In addition to base pay, KREWE offers annual bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and employee discounts.
