Mackenzie Stuart is in close partnership with a global leader in adhesives, actively seeking a dynamic Sales Director for their construction adhesives. The ideal candidate must possess experience in leading profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities within the construction sector, though individuals from the broader Coatings industry will also be considered.

Job Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring the sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet targetsIdentifying and pursuing opportunities to increase revenue and profitabilityPropel strategic sales growth by executing short, medium, and long-term business plans.Create and execute operational plans in alignment with the company’s objectives.Formulate and manage the business budget for commercial arrangements.Play a crucial role in advising on material/product pricing for commercial contracts.Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to productivity and work quality standards.Direct the formulation of strategic plans for the company’s overall operations and long-term growth.Analysing financial data and generating reports on commercial performanceImplement organizational changes to align with company goals or comply with legal requirements.

Requirements

Over 10 years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the Coatings industry. Commercial P/L leadership experience is a plus.Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent, with an MBA preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.Experience leading a teamFluency in English, Dutch a plus.
