Sales Director - Agriculture

The opportunity:

In this key leadership role, you will collaborate with senior executives to set and achieve ambitious sales goals while driving both short-term and long-term customer engagement and RB market presence.

With a deep understanding of the new and used European agricultural equipment market—its trends, challenges, and customer needs—you will collaborate closely directly and indirectly with our local  Regional Sales & Territory Managers (RSMs & TMs), fostering success in their areas of responsibility to support our vision of being the trusted global marketplace for insights, services, and transactional solutions for commercial assets. Your leadership will directly contribute to GTV growth, revenue expansion, increased market share, the adoption of new products/ services expansion and outstanding customer engagement at all levels.

Reporting to the Head of International Sales, you will be responsible for achieving regional Revenue and Gross Transaction Value (GTV) targets, by partnering with  Regional Sales Managers, Territory Managers, new business development, and key account management to strengthen our position as the trusted global marketplace for Agricultural equipment.

 

Your mission will be to:

Develop and implement growth strategies and tactics to achieve annual targets and long-term regional financial success within budget and timeframe constraints. Partner with regional sales teams to align business efforts with corporate initiatives, including developing and executing the annual sales plan. Collaborate with local Regional and Territory Sales Managers to drive Revenue and Gross Transaction Volume (GTV). Expand market share by deepening relationships with loyalty customers and aggressively pursuing new business. Develop and lead Sales teams, fostering growth through collaboration, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and career development. Build a strong “win team” partnership with operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between RSMs and Regional Operations Managers. Foster a culture of clear communication, role clarity, cross-functional collaboration, and employee engagement while leveraging support functions and driving organizational change by honoring our True North. Oversee deal execution, including strategy, approvals, risk assessment, value debt resolution, and major customer presentations. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, legal, and environmental policies. Recruit, mentor and manage a high performing sales team. Perform other related duties as assigned

Here is what you bring:

A college degree in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, and/or Sales. 5-7 years of experience managing and/or directing a multi-country field sales team within the agricultural equipment industry in a quota-driven environment. Proven experience in leading sales initiatives and business plans to align with evolving business goals, including executing strategies for sales growth. Exceptional leadership, management, and coaching skills.

 

Please note:

Up to 70% of your time will be spent traveling to support your area of responsibility, including attending customer, association, and business meetings. Overnight travel will be required. You may be required to climb on and off large agricultural equipment.
