As the Nordics Sales Director for Discrete Automation, you will be at the forefront of our sales and customer service operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. Your mission? To accelerate profitable sales growth, expand market penetration, and lead a motivated team to success.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Own the Sales Strategy: Direct and coordinate sales efforts, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Lead & Encourage: Manage, develop, and motivate the Nordics DAUT sales team to drive new business and implement central initiatives. Expand Market Presence: Grow our footprint by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning DAUT as the go-to solution. Drive High-Impact Deals: Oversee commercial negotiations, strategic pricing, and channel development to improve penetration and margins. Foster Executive-Level Engagement: Build strong partnerships with key decision-makers and strategic customers to drive long-term growth. Develop Talent & Culture: Champion a high-performance, customer-centric culture while enhancing team engagement and motivation. Leverage Data & Insights: Apply Salesforce CRM and other tools to drive data-backed decision-making and optimize sales performance.Who You Are:

Proven Sales Leadership: 10+ years of progressive industry experience, including 5+ years at an executive level in sales, with international exposure. Strategic Vision: A strong ability to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that drive business success. Technical Expertise: Bachelor of Science degree (Engineering preferred); an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus. Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for building relationships and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Upbeat Approach: You excel in dynamic settings, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency. Global Approach: Experience navigating international business cultures and working across diverse markets.Due to its nature, this job will occasionally demand additional out of normal office hours to be worked.
Overnight stays and days away from home will be necessary, and occasional overseas trips may also be required.
