**Overview**
The Director of Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving sales growth within the Professional Video and Audio industry. This role involves leading a sales team, developing strategies, execution of business Go-To-Market, achieving sales & profitability targets, and building relationships with key clients to achieve continual growth of Panasonic’s Professional & Audio Systems business.

**Responsibilities**
**What You'll Get to Do:**
**Sales Strategy and Execution**
+ Develop and drive the Sales strategy for Professional Video & Audio Systems business in conjunction Product Management Engineering, Marketing, & Operations.
+ Create yearly Business Plan with objective to meet & exceed company goals.
+ Develop, oversee, & implement compelling incentive based Programs to ensure strong partnership, demand creation, & sales closure by Channel & Direct partners.
+ Work Product Management & Marketing leadership in the development and execution of messaging, strategies, promotions, and other tactics designed to generate market awareness, produce actionable leads and Panasonic demand.
+ Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes and strategies to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and market changes.
+ Establish guidelines and expected levels of performance for direct reports and is dedicated to communicating, reinforcing, measuring, enforcing, and acting where necessary to ensure the highest level of employee performance.
+ Create, plan, and deliver compelling presentations on company initiatives, sales strategies, and performance metrics to internal and external executive-level stakeholders.
**Business Management**
+ Responsible for achievement of business sales targets through execution of plan and control of expenditures.
+ Oversee business forecasting & sales based on analysis and interpretation of CRM pipeline & ERP data.
+ Provide analysis & interpretation of pricing models, competitive landscape, general economic environment, & industry trends.
+ Utilize data from the company CRM system to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, creating sales enablement initiatives to increase growth.
**Team Leadership**
+ Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Sales Executives to drive rapid new business sales growth.
+ Implement training and development programs to ensure the sales team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve targets.
+ Provide regular coaching and feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
+ Establish clear performance metrics and hold the team accountable for meeting and exceeding sales quotas and goals.
**Administration**
+ Effectively manage all administrative duties and reporting in timely manner.
+ Monitor & achieve all HQ required KPI’s.
+ Manage & coordinate individual meetings, travel, & expenses.

**Scope** :
+ This is senior management role with primary responsibility of leading a team of professional video & audio sales representatives to yearly growth for Panasonic Professional Video & Audio Systems Company. This role involves strategic thinking, expertise in business analytics & execution, and adaptability to changing market conditions.
**Education & Experience** :
+ 10+ years on Broadcast/Audio-Visual industry experience required.
+ 5+ years of successful Senior Sales Leadership managing teams of 10+ employees required.
+ 4 year degree, Masters preferred.
+ Seasoned professional with firm understanding of Indirect/Channel & Direct Go-To-Market strategies.
+ Ability to manage all aspects of a business unit, including P/L implications of decisions.
+ Industry certifications preferred.
**Problem Solving** :
+ Self-motivated, resilient, can-do attitude to overcome obstacles and find resolution in sometimes difficult conditions.
+ Excellent judgment and be able to work in a challenging matrix management environment.
+ Able to navigate informal structures making work related contacts and collaborate with internal resources to accomplish company goals.
+ Strategic thinker who takes systematic approaches to solving problems to insure customer satisfaction and achieving company goals.
+ Understanding of pipeline management discipline.
**Communications** :
+ Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, & level of persuasion required.
+ Able to cultivate relationships of C-Level individuals within strategic, high-value end-user customers.
+ Passionate company advocate with ability to negotiate at all levels of customer engagement.
+ Must have the ability to explain complex systems in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
+ Skilled presenter who is comfortable with one-on-one or large group audiences.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ CRM software including customer contact, sales pipeline and opportunity data management (Salesforce preferred).
+ Travel up to 50% of time, some weekend work, hours of work may vary due to business travel, customer availability and trade show involvement.
