This Sales Director of New Valves Equipment is a key leadership role responsible for leading a team of sales professionals in driving orders growth, building and managing client relationships, and executing sales strategies that align with our company’s objectives. The role will lead an intense focus in developing new business opportunities with new and existing accounts within North America.
As the Valves Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
Leading valve new equipment sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual order targets for new valve equipment to EPCs, OEMs, and other key project customers.Conducting market segmentation, develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase account penetration with new and existing North American accounts.Driving project pursuit process to maximize participation for relevant valve products working directly with clients and with strategic channel partners throughout the region.Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to a growing sales team, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development.Acting as the primary point of contact for projects and key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.Understanding customer needs and translate them into effective solutions that leverage the company's valve technologies.Negotiating contracts and close sales with a focus on long-term customer value.Identifying customer requirements and partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of valve products.Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 8+ yrs of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the oil & gas or power generation industries.Proven track record of success in selling control and/or relief valve equipment or similar industrial products directly to EPCs, OEMs, and Corporate HQ offices.Strong technical understanding of control valves, pressure relief valves, instrumentation, and related systems in the relevant industries.Experience managing a sales team and meeting/exceeding sales targets within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.Work in a way that works for you
