The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Sales & Education Specialist to join our Queensland Nutrition team. This is an outstanding opportunity to merge your passion for sales and education in a role that directly impacts patient lives. In this role you will engage with key hospital personnel, clinicians, nursing and pharmacy staff, on specialised nutrition needs for patients. You will have opportunities to educate patients on nutrition homecare and ensure their safe and efficient use of Baxter Nutrition products and consumables.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with key hospital personnel, clinicians, nursing staff, pharmacy, and procurement teams in major hospitals in QLD

Establish, maintain, and develop mutually beneficial and profitable business relationships between Baxter Healthcare and its customers, both external and internal

Achieve sales goals and maintain profitability while identifying incremental business opportunities and developing relevant strategies

Track sales opportunities and preserve existing business to achieve growth in both revenue and gross profit

Establish relationships and network with all levels of clinical and management staff, providing outstanding service, back-up, and product knowledge.

Participate in territory management with the ANZ Head of Nutrition, Commercial Lead, Marketing team, and Healthcare Solutions teams

Target customers within the marketing segmentation to determine potential territory growth

Support with education to current and potential Baxter customers on the efficient use of Baxter products.

Provide market information and data to develop a sound understanding of the marketplace.

Coordinate and provide education and ongoing training throughout trials and implementations of Baxter products

Ensure Baxter product information material provided to customers has been approved by Marketing and/or Medical Affairs

Act as a key advocate for the Nutrition product portfolio.

Key Requirements

Tertiary education in Business, Sales/Marketing, Dietetics, Nursing, or a Science-related field

Proven experience in commercial, sales, or account management experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device industries

Proven ability to function as part of a high-performing commercial team

Excellent skills in establishing strong connections and serving as a persuasive negotiator who can engage collaborators and decision-makers at all levels

Outstanding communication and presentation skills to convey technical and conceptual information

Outstanding time management and organizational skills with demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results.

Ability to work autonomously with a strong drive and determination to succeed

Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering flawless customer satisfaction

Professional approach to the direction and implementation of ideas and programs

Interest in continuous learning and development while working collaboratively in a team

Understanding of adult learning principles

Flexibility with working hours and willingness to undertake interstate travel when required

Valid Driver’s Licence.
