The opportunity

As an Intern in our Core Business Services (CBS), you will have the unique opportunity to work across various functions, including Talent, Brand Marketing & Communications, Knowledge, Finance, Ethics Compliance & Risk Management, and Markets. This internship will provide you with exposure to diverse teams of EY professionals who serve our clients in both the Government Public Sector and Markets Sector.

You will engage in a multi-faceted, integrated learning experience that combines practical, paid work with professional development. This role is designed to enhance your understanding of sales and forecasting processes while equipping you with essential skills for your future career.

 

Your key responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to complete projects, gaining subject matter expertise in sales and forecasting. Attend internal and external meetings to understand client needs and market trends, contributing insights to enhance service delivery. Assist in the development and analysis of sales forecasts, identifying key trends and patterns to support decision-making. Utilize EY technology tools and software to contribute effectively to team projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management. Employ the Microsoft technology suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to create and maintain spreadsheets, presentations, and reports that communicate findings and recommendations. Conduct market research to gather relevant data that informs sales strategies and forecasting models. Take direction from supervisors while demonstrating initiative and independence in completing assignments; provide regular updates to ensure alignment with team goals. Support the preparation of sales presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, showcasing analytical findings and strategic recommendations. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in sales processes and forecasting techniques.

To qualify, you must have

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline A minimum GPA of 3.0 or above Approximately 0-2 years of related work experience, including internships or academic projects related to sales, finance, or analytics.

 

  What we offer The hourly rate for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $40.00/hr. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
