About the role
The Sales Enablement Lead is responsible for driving enterprise sales velocity, equipping sales teams with the tools, training, and processes needed to maximize performance. This role oversees the deal desk to ensure effective governance of sales and qualification gates while delivering data-driven insights to optimize decision-making. By enabling sales teams through coaching and structured processes, the Sales Enablement Lead plays a critical role in enhancing Pearson's overall sales effectiveness and efficiency.
This role can be based in London, Uk or in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Optimization : Track and maximize sales velocity by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, refining strategies, and ensuring seamless sales processes.
Deal Desk Oversight : Manage deal desk operations to align deals with business priorities, streamline approvals, and drive timely progression.
Tools & Processes : Standardize sales tools, methodologies, and reporting processes, while delivering impactful training programs to elevate team capabilities.
Training & Coaching : Provide tailored coaching and dynamic training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and team performance.
Data-Driven Insights : Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, while generating actionable performance reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align initiatives and deliver a cohesive sales enablement strategy.
About You
Key Experiences & skills:
Proven experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related role.
Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, tools, and methodologies.
Experience in managing deal desks and implementing governance frameworks for sales.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics platforms.
Demonstrated success in designing and delivering impactful sales training programs.
Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
