Sales Engineer

KONE Cyprus is embarking upon an exciting growth phase, and this represents an opportunity for you to join our team. Sales Engineer is responsible for proactively managing customer relationships, managing opportunities from current and new customers and closing deals in a professional manner to maximize KONE's order book and profitability.

Responsibilities

Proactively build and establish customer relationships in the area of responsibility

Responsible for developing KONE's position in own customer base or market area

Generates and communicates leads and sales opportunities (e.g. cross-selling) to the entire KONE sales team.

Ensures customer satisfaction and resolves complaints together with the rest of the KONE team.

Documents customer and contact information, maintains customer data

Responsible for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet sales budget and pricing targets.

Verifies that the content of the order received from the customer is consistent with the outcome of the negotiation process, including terms, quality and safety

Responsible for providing complete and correct information to installation, maintenance and/or engineering.

Maintains full information on options, tasks and visits.

Timely and accurate reporting

Support the finance function in the collection of funds.

Ideal Skills, Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or in related field

Master Customer relations, presentations and negotiations, closing deals, proposal process, after sales activities

Target driven and strong sales mindset

Basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms

Be able to work under pressure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools

Product sales skills
