As our new Sales Engineer, you will effectively lead, promote and grow the sales of specific Rosemount products and services within nominated customer segments in the QLD/PNG region. Provide a high level of customer contact via predominately face-to-face as well as phone, email, video, and other digital media. + Respond to sales enquiries and generate leads + Work with the Sales Support, Customer Care & MANZAT teams to provide product quotations. + Follow up on quotations and win orders. + Generate new opportunities through customer dialog and demand-creation activities (presentations, coordinated marketing, industry events, social media, etc.) + Proactively research and develop business plans to grow sales and services in the nominated customer segment: + Conduct analysis and research to gain a full understanding of the customer base and stay on top of any changes to the market, competitors, technology, and the industry in general + Develop and implement sales plans for the nominated customers and industries in the region. Review, evaluate, and report on sales activities and initiatives + Ensure there is a strong brand awareness within the nominated customer segment through marketing, advertising and demand-creation activities + Utilise CRM, Outlook, Toolkit, and other supporting infrastructure and business processes as directed + Identify and raise opportunities to sell other Rosemount or Emerson products.
