Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

Performs all sales activity within an assigned geographic territory to meet company objectives.Annually submits and implements a detailed sales action plan identifying: On-line Process and Lab instrument sales objectives, sales opportunities for customers, and regional shows to be attended during the following fiscal year by SFDCParticipates in sales activities including key customer site visits, developing the On-line Process and Lab instrument business, increasing our On-line Process and Lab instrument market share, trade seminars/shows, workshops, product demonstrationsSubmit annually, monthly and weekly sales forecasts to Sales ManagerMaintains customer activity files in SFDCWork closely with the Sales Manager, Application Engineer, and Marketing team, to drive the business through the existing strategyCollects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.Other duties as assigned.

Desired Background and Skill Requirements

Prefer a BA or BS degree in Chemical, Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered.Sales experience (at least 4 years) in similar products and services in industrial segment (Power/Petrol/Chemical/F&B/Electronic/Pharma) eg, sales of high turnover commodities preferred.Individuals equipped with a more technically inclined sales approach will be an added advantageDemonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT software to facilitate sales relatedAdministrative work, in areas of quotations & project bid proposals preparations.Must have a valid driver’s license and possess own vehicle.
