Sales Engineer Reno, NV Job Type Full-time Description Searching for a dynamic individual to join Monsen Engineering as a Building/Construction Sales Engineer. Position will promote Trimble Buildings field technology solutions with an emphasis on construction layout tools and 3D Laser Scanning. This role combines knowledge of field technology applications with sales skills to achieve aggressive growth across building construction trades. The product portfolio includes field layout solutions using robotic total stations, 3D laser scanning solutions and related applications. The focus area for sales would be Utah and Nevada. **Responsibilities:** + Increase market share of direct sales to achieve revenue targets and market coverage. + This team member has a positive attitude and will train and perform high quality demonstrations for clients and prospects in the building construction industry + Contact new and existing customers in the GC, Concrete, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Construction industry and conduct needs analysis and pre-qualification assessments for alignment of Trimble products and services to meet customer needs. + Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations. + Additional Focus post sales activity to ensure the customer is successful. + Create weekly and monthly Territory Sales forecasts and Sales Funnel Analysis. + Quote and negotiate prices, credit terms, service agreements and other specifications as required. + Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing. + Other direct sales duties include cold calling prospects to generate leads; working with the sales department to develop leads; attending industry trade shows; calling and visiting customers within the designated territory and providing high levels of customer service. **Minimum Qualifications:** · 2+ years of Solutions Sales Experience. · Ability to travel up to 50%. · Ability to lift up to 75 pounds of demo equipment. · Strategic consultative sales and closing skills. · Product sales experience. · Knowledge of building construction and/or building trades processes, procedures, and workflows is highly preferred.
