The Sales Engineer provides technical expertise and best practices to the Go-To-Market (GTM) Team, primarily by configuring the Sales Standard demo databases and advising on best practices.

 

Starting base pay for this role is between $77,000 and $97,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities Maintains clean and fully functional market specific demonstration databases.Ensures data in each database is current across all modules.Implements configurations and integrations.Maintains a prioritized listing of items to be added to the sales standard databases.Migrates configurations from demo databases to Sales Standard.Ensures all new release functionality is appropriately configured in the sales standard databases.Migrates new solution templates and template updates from product-maintained repository.Updates/refreshes personal sandbox environments for all sales consultants and sales executives on a regular, timely schedule.Serves as a configuration subject matter expert in assigned market.Provides clarity to Technical Sales Consultants and GTM team around features/functionality available in the Sales Standards environments.Creates documentation for standard solutions.Creates clear communication plan around status of configured solutions in Sales Standard.Runs quarterly process to delete retired sandboxes no longer in use by GTM team.Trains regularly on the Origami product to become an expert across all types of product functionality.Communicates with the GTM Team and Market Strategy Leads (MSLs) regularly.Collects feedback from the GTM Team and MSLs on ways to improve the standard databases.Employs communication methods to align on what is available in the standard databases and address gaps in functionality.Plans for new functionality releases quarterly and communicates features and timing to the GTM Team.Provides monthly updates to the GTM Management team.Translates product needs from GTM to Development.Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Business-related field.2+ years of relevant previous experience in sales engineering or similar role.Previous experience working with technical sales teams or sales executives.Insurance industry experience preferred.
