Sales Engineer

As our new Sales Engineer, you will effectively lead, promote and grow the sales of specific Process Control and Safety systems focusing on DeltaV and Industrial Software Solutions for Lifecycle Services and Modernization within the Western Australia & Northern Territory (WA & NT) regions to allocated customer base. This is your opportunity to work with an outstanding team dedicated to making the world healthier, safer, and more balanced! **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Proactively build and maintain effective business relationships with allocated customers within the region. Provide a high level of customer contact via face to face, phone, email and other digital media: + Respond to sales enquiries from customers. + Conduct, arrange and / or assist with marketing activities + Work with the Sales Support group to provide quotations for products and services. + Work with the WA/NT regional team to provide appropriate technical support + Engage on key projects within the team through to a successful outcome + Proactive demand creation and business development activities within new and existing customers for the DeltaV and Industrial Software Solutions + Effective planning and strategy development to manage your assigned region and ensure sustainable growth + Timely and accurate reporting (in CRM and other) on a regular basis, provide Emerson Management with insight into progress and forecasted business **Who You Are:** You identify and seize new opportunities, acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems, and maintain a positive attitude despite adversity. **For This Role, You Will Need:** • Tertiary qualified in an engineering-related field • Sales experience in the relevant industry • Experience and understanding of sales budgeting and forecasting processes • Understanding the technical aspects of the business and key business drivers **Our Offer To You:** By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
