WATER QUALITY PLATFORM
Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines.
About Role
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The sales Representative will be instrumental in shaping the future strategy & structure of the Trojan UV Business through the Hach’s General Industry Network. This position will develop a network based on credibility, quality solutions and long-term relationships.
What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
Drives growth in business to the customers in the assigned Region/ customer groups
Single point of contact to the customers for technical and solution related queries, sales opportunities and coordination of service requirements
Understand the water technology space and has existing relationships with key players
Develops, implements & sustains comprehensive account plans (sales, marketing and service programs/strategies) to achieve annual booking and sales numbers
Understand the market and its trends, competitors, and opportunities covering the whole municipal & general industries.
Prepares and maintains all sales documentation (Sales Funnel, Client Profile, etc.) and ensures updated maintenance of SFDC
Attend & handle networking event, roadshow, seminar, workshop related to water business.
Conduct and lead market research, including voice-of-the-customer interviews, to assess current and future customer requirements and benchmark competition.
What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)
3-4 years’ experience with sales responsibilities in a B2B space (preferably in a water-related business).
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
Self-starter and must be comfortable working independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Teamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations and business teams.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to analyze complicated issues and boil down to the key points, develop action plans and bring to a successful conclusion.
Conviction of thought and ability to persuade others.
Excellent presentation skills and competence in MS office tools
Work nature: High ability to travel & meet customer.
