Job Description
**What does the job entail?**
As a **Sales Engineer** , you'll be the cornerstone of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in Belgium and Netherlands. You will engage with potential and existing customers, showcasing your expertise in water treatment solutions through dynamic presentations and insightful explanations. Your role involves crafting tailored solutions and collaborating with internal teams to prepare precise quotations that fulfill customer needs, ensuring strong, ongoing business relationships.
**Your day-to-day tasks will include:**
• Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales calls and customer visits. Find proper customer solutions for water treatment plants that meet customer needs.
• Communicate product solutions to prospects and current customers that demonstrate product benefits and how it will meet customer needs.
• Support calculation of costs (costs for materials, assembly, delivery etc.) and find the correct sales price with approved margin.
• Foster a cohesive team culture characterized by transparent agreements and a strong commitment to meeting promises.
• Coordinate sales with involved stakeholders, including finding delivery time etc.
• Prepare hand over to order / project management.

• Gather market data and provide input on competitor activities.
• Ensure that all the promises and contractual obligations in front of the customers are met
**Who are you?**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or sales
+ Preferable 3 to 5-years' experience in customer project / technical sales.
+ Experience in job relevant tools (SAP or other ERP/CRM) and MS office tools.
+ Ability to work in an English and Dutch speaking environment.
+ Negotiating skills including knowledge of contract terms, risks, pricing, and payment terms, change orders and additional services.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentations skills.
