YOUR ROLEYou will join a South-European sales team and contribute to our purpose of shaping the automotive industry through our high-impact sealing, bonding and component protection solutions for Exterior, Power-Train, Inferior and Chassis parts. As a sales engineer responsible for our customers in France, your main responsibilities will be the following:
Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and sales partners in the automotive industry Project management from the first design draft, through prototypes, approvals to the final implementation in series Understanding technical customer requirements and specifications Obtaining technical and commercial approvals for Henkel products Set up and implementation of local sales plans (short, medium and long term) in line with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) strategy to maintain and develop existing and acquire new customers Development and implementation of the customer roadmap and management and closing of growth opportunities with the corresponding CRM tool (ACE) Active steering of pricing measures Providing information to the manager on customer needs, business trends and competitive situations in the area Coordination with technical customer service to conduct product tests and (re)solve customer inquiries and complaints Achieving annual OSG and profitability targets in the area with defined customers YOUR SKILLS Successfully completed Master's degree in engineering or another technical field 6+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of technical B2B sales preferably in the automotive industry Ability to work independently and autonomously in international teams Strong commercial mindset (sales, medium / long term commercial strategic perspective) Sensitive to clients’ needs, ability to create customer relationships based on trust Leadership mindset with entrepreneurial spirit Great team player with hands-on mentality Knowledge & interest in the areas of social selling and digital competence Territorial portfolio management and value selling Fluent French & English language mandatory Localisation : Île de France, North or Central East FranceAt Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
