Requisition ID :17485 Employment Type :Full Time Job Category :Business Development Job Grade :Pseudo Grd 10 Work Location :Menomonee Falls, WI (ET) BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Experienced Sales Engineer to join the premier distributor in the metalworking industry, specializing in high-quality carbide cutting tools, abrasives and work holding for the machining and fabrication customers in Wisconsin. This individual will work to enhance productivity and precision in various manufacturing applications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the metalworking sector. · Present and sell a range of products in the metalworking industry. Products include bit not limited to: Cutting Tools, Vitrified and Coated Abrasives, Pneumatic Air Tools, PPE and other Safety Products, Workholding Products for machining and fabrication · Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers. · Identify new business opportunities and expand market share. · Collaborate with Manufacturers Representatives and Company Technical Support to achieve sales goals. · Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose. · Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: · Associates Degree or equivalent experience in applications of fabrication or machining products. · Proven sales experience in the metalworking industry, specifically with carbide cutting tools, air tools or abrasives. · Familiarity with products utilized in various manufacturing facilities. · Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool applications. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
