Purpose of the role

The Specification Engineer is responsible for both sales and pre-sales and product specification. He must provide customers with technicaladvice on the use of Leviat brand products and to exploit market opportunities leading to increase brand awareness. They will also produces safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to problems encountered by specifiers and end users. As a Specification Engineer, you will be working with our customers, sales teams, contractors and designers to drive the sales of specificproducts.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsible for specification and engineering development for new application fields / to expand tunneling, Industrial flooring & elevatorsegment, steel structure applications. Preparation of presentations in cooperation with Technical Department. Recommend improved materials to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase the construction productivityand assisting in the design of custom-made products. Covering geographical area under your jurisdiction including territory that might beassigned to you by your superior. Actively provide technical support to customers/ internal sales department and production department. Research on local construction methods and country specific construction methods. Cooperation with material testing laboratories, test supervision and relevant authorities. Design and prepare dimensioning of special constructions. Prepare and workout of complete technical solutions for building projects. Participate in related exhibitions / trade fairs / seminars and related events. This involves building long-term relationships with specifiers to gain knowledge of specifications on projects and educating key influencerson construction projects about proper use, advantages and value of LEVIAT products. Developing & maintaining proper archive of technical related documents. Conduct Technical seminars in specifier’s offices and at potential sites to develop both short & long term business opportunities/leads forcompany. It is not possible to enumerate all duties, but your scope covers all specification related responsibilities.
