Sales Engineer for VMware

 Job Description:

Pre and post sales activities based on VMware vendor portfolio.Remote and on-site Ingram Micro partner supportProvides technical leadership and direction to channel partners and sales staff with pre-sales activities in the assigned market on behalf Ingram Micro's supplier VMwareDemonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on VMware solutions including vSphere, cloud foundations, advanced security, containers, orchestration, private AI, and workload automation with an understanding of competitive offerings in the modern data centerActs as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned channel partners and their end usersMakes technical and sales presentations to channel partner's technical and sales staffLead partners through technical specification requirements and solution positioningLearning and facilitating VMware oriented courses for Ingram Micro valuable partnerParticipate in preparing technical solutions and design with Senior Engineers

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in IT technologiesAt least 3-year experience working with products from specified vendor portfolio.Ability to communicate effectively within business environment.Solid knowledge and experience with VMware virtualization platform and product portfolioAbility to conduct effective group presentations and/or trainingsExcellent knowledge of English languageHaving vendor certification will be an advantage.University diploma with Technical Background will be an advantage.
