As a Sales Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with key customers and trade organizations, understanding and solidifying purchase agreements, customer alliances and market trends. You will also develop a keen understanding of Flowserve operations to enhance selling effectiveness and coordinate selling efforts with other internal and 3rd party selling channel partners.

Outside Sales Engineer in charge of Endusers in NRW – Nord-Rhein-Westfalen in the markets, Oil&Gas, Power, CPI, Water
Responsible for Pumps, Mechanical seals, Service & Solutions offerings
Original Equipment and specific for Aftermarket
Clean RFQ - discuss with customer all requirements and expectations
Handing over the RFQ to Com Ops
Intermediate correspondence to customer and Com Ops
Technical and commercial Order Negotiation until contract award
After order support
Claim management
Forecasting of business with Flowforce
Report issues and obstacles as well as market trend
Your profile:
Successfully completed technical degree in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, or equivalent
2+ years sales experience with rotating equipment such as pumps and mechanical seals
Goal-driven and independent work method, coupled with entrepreneurial thinking
High level of interpersonal skills and capacity for teamwork
Demonstrated skills in leading meetings, including setting agendas, preparing, facilitating discussions, and assigning follow-up activities
A flexible multi-tasker with good follow-through to meet urgent deadlines with little or no supervision
Able to lead a root cause failure analysis and communicate results
High degree of personal initiative and resilience
High IT affinity
Good verbal and written skill in English and German
Willingness to travel
