We seek a Solutions Engineer with broad experience in Networking, Collaboration, Data Center, Security, and Software-Defined Technologies to partner with our Virtual Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions through demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about learning new technologies and who are eager to be part of a team where teamwork is fostered.
Role & Responsibilities:Technical leadership of accounts from the Global Virtual Sales Organization.
Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.
Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
Experience in leading projects in the Public Sector.
Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects.
Minimum Qualifications +5 years of related experience.Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in the technology area of emphasis required.Pre-sales experience is required.Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.CCNP, CCVP, CCIE, or Data Center Certifications are strongly encouraged.Knowledge and proven operating experience in one of the following areas of specialization: Unified Communications, Video, Campus LAN & WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Security, BYOD architectures, Data Center Technologies, Big Data, Analytics, SDN, Server Architecture, Virtualization, Programmability.Desired Skills Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skillsAbility to work focused on achieving goals and objectives.Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.Strong problem-solving skills: ability to assess a problem and settle an effective course of action.Why Cisco?
