Sales Engineer with German – Internship

As Altair continues to grow, we have a unique opportunity for you to be instrumental in the growth of our region.
You will be at the forefront of the sales process, responsible for generating business opportunities through lead qualification and market prospection within the assigned Energy vertical in the EMEA region.
What you will do:
· Identify, prospect, and hunt new opportunities through networking, social networks, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques.
· Conduct market & territory research on targeted accounts, verticals, competitors and more.
· Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Account Managers (lead qualification).
· Be an Altair ambassador presenting our company to potential clients.
· Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
· Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
· Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
· Stay up-to-date with latest Altair Technology in terms of new products/services.
What you will need:
· Studying or degree in Engineering.
· Fluent (written and verbal) English.
· Native or fluent in German
· Knowledge on the Data Analytics current environment in the industry is a plus.
· Open-minded who comes up with new ideas.
· Problem solving skills are a must since you will be given the liberty to put forward innovative solutions to the market needs.
· Ability to learn and be autonomous to continue learning on your own.
· Client orientation and good communication skills.
