The offered wage of $197,163 per annum is in accordance with the prevailing wage determination issued by the U.S. Department of Labor’s National Prevailing Wage Center, which has determined that this position falls under the Standard Occupational Classification code 11-2022 (Sales Managers). The requirements for the above-referenced position include: a Master’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field of study, plus 60 months of experience in Sales Engineering, Engineering Management, or Sales Management of technical products. Further requirements include demonstrated experience with: Account management; Application engineering and engineering of kinematic components; Automotive plastic sales experience in injection molding; Developing, implementing and analyzing strategic business (competitive), marketing and sales strategies; Customer negotiations; Budgeting, sales, and business development; Materials engineering of plastic components; APQP; TS16949; 80/20 framework. The role further requires to 25% domestic travel to unanticipated client sites. The position will require performance of the following job duties: Manage the engineering, sales, and continuous product innovation and development for ITW's Air Flow Management (AFM) North Americas (NA) Division. Apply principles of application engineering, sales engineering, and automotive OEM industry to manage sales and engineering strategy for automotive Air Register and Pressure Relief Valve component solutions, and allied manufactured products. Establish the strategy for sales, growth plan, vision, and performance goals to align the resources, manufacturing capabilities, and engineering design capabilities to ensure growth and penetration in NA region with current “80” OEM Customers, ensuring sufficiency of projects in pipeline to ensure Growth above 2% of car build market. Working closely with senior leadership and operations; leverage knowledge of engineered products, the automotive industry, and the local market to focus on core product growth and new product introduction, while ensuring a meaningful value proposition and a sustainable differentiation in engineering, quality, adaptability, or design features. Liaise with customer stakeholders, establishing rapport, while seeking to understand customer operating scenarios, technical and business requirements, and otherwise developing insights to provide ITW with a competitive advantage through unparalleled understanding of customer needs and preferences. Directing strategic planning including comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to understand the market niche, product development and penetration opportunities for ITW, connecting the dots with Segmentation (Product and Market) and P&L improvement. Analyze financial, sales, and business development reports for the purpose of detecting undesirable trends at an early stage in order to take prompt remedial action and allocate resources where address issues. Applying ITW innovation strategies utilizing the ITW Toolbox, with strong & disciplined Customer Back Innovation execution. Championing the ITW Leadership Development framework, developing talent within the business, and identifying and developing key leaders for future roles. Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration with other ITW AFM units to strengthen relationships, maximize synergies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and engineering/sales efficiency. Build and maintain a management team that is able to meet the divisional, commercial, operational and financial goals. Develop the related key leaders, his team members and accelerate the development of early in career high potential functional talents.
