OverviewSummary
As a Sales Engineering (SE) Intern at C1, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Sales Engineering team, learning how to manage customer relationships, develop customer solutions, design customer deliverables, and complete the sales of the solution. This internship will provide hands-on experience in SE skilles, including scoping and quoting, communications with customers, C1 resources, and sales teams, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive customer outcomes. You will work with our team to ensure customers derive maximum value from our solutions while gaining valuable exposure to industry’s best practices and customer engagement strategies.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Learn SE Process and Best PracticesShadow experienced Solutions Architects (SA’s)Participate in team meetingsBecome familiar with internal toolsLearn how to track deliverables, use solutioning tools from manufacturers, and complete customer deliverables.Support efforts to discovery customer requirements and drive customer outcomes.Learn how to identify opportunities for further engagement by additional SA teams and overlays.Support SA’s in addressing customer inquiries and ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to Customer Experience and Advisory Initiatives.Support the creation of advisory assessments for new technologies and innovations.Provide input into creation and enhancement of discovery tools. QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers.Proactive attitude with an eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the team.Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot customer issues with a solutions-oriented approach.Team player who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams to deliver results.Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of customer success, CRM tools, or SaaS platforms is a plus.Project Management SkillsBasic understanding of technical concepts related to produce or service offeringsAdditional Information
