Main ResponsibilitiesKey Purpose :
Sales Excellence Director is responsible for driving the commercial strategy and ensuring its alignment with business objectives to optimize business development, improve market share through resilient organic growth initiatives, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role involves creating and leading a solid commercial business department/function by leading the commercial sector and local regional teams in the initiatives to enhance salesforce effectiveness, pricing strategies, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve commercial excellence (quantitatively and qualitatively).Key Accountabilities :
Lead the commercial support functions within the region in coordination with the division head of growth.Strategic Planning & Leadership :
Develop and implement commercial excellence standards & strategies to manage and support overall European commercial plans. Lead initiatives to maximise the organic commercial resources utilisation through sales enablement actions and technology usage. Identify market trends and opportunities to maximize revenue growth and profitability. Lead the commercial support functions within the region in coordination with the divisional head of growth. Act as a key stakeholder to senior leadership on commercial performance metrics and optimization opportunities.Salesforce Effectiveness :
Design and implement tools, processes, and training to enhance salesforce productivity and efficiency. Develop sales performance metrics and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Conduct regular assessments of salesforce capability and identify areas for improvement. Oversee CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to ensure data integrity and usability for decision-makingPricing & Revenue Management :
Collaborate with commercial support teams to define and implement effective pricing strategies. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust pricing and promotional strategies accordingly. Develop frameworks for value-based pricing and margin optimization.Performance Analytics & Reporting :
Build and manage dashboards and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making and commercial strategies. Collaborate closely with MD’s in leading commercial forecasting and demand planning efforts across commercial (support) teams.Change Management :
Lead organizational change initiatives related to commercial strategy, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and tools. Act as a champion for a data-driven, customer-focused approach to commercial excellence. Successful CandidateEssential Technical and Professional Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications :

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Resilient. Strong analytical and financial acumen. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive organizational change. Strong knowledge of market trends and competitive analysis.Qualifications & Requirements :
Education: Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and market dynamics. Experience implementing CRM systems and other salesforce enablement tools. Proven track record in driving sales performance and process improvements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue growth and profitability. Salesforce productivity metrics (e.g., win rates, conversion rates). Accuracy of sales forecasting and planning. Customer satisfaction and retention rates. Implementation success of commercial initiatives. About the CompanyAbout Serco Group
