The Sales Excellence Manager reports directly to the Snr Director of Sales Excellence and Operations and will drive growth by proactively impacting performance of Sales teams through commercial best practices, processes, insights and hands on support in generating leads. This role requires strategic and hands on execution capabilities to transform culture & mindsets in close collaboration with client management leadership at GSI. The incumbent will be an outcome-oriented leader with a Lean / Continuous Improvement skill set who is proficient in building strong organizations and executional models that drive both short- and long-term objectives. Possessing a good sense of humility, humor, and a growth mindset, the incumbent will operate at high pace while bringing others along on this transformation journey.
ResponsibilitiesCreate a strong, agile, and high-performing sales culture across GSI and RoadGuard by developing and deploying best-in-class sales processes & tools, standard work, daily & visual management and learning programs.
Translate strategic growth initiatives to actionable plans for best-in-class Sales Operations & Excellence support working along Client Management leadership.
Challenge and drive new ideas, concepts, and programs, based on deep analysis of underlying customer/market/sales data, in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership.
Provide individualized as well as team-based coaching along with Sales Directors to embed best in class programs.
Support sales regions directly and growth initiatives by executing inbound and outbound calls to leads to grow opportunities, build relationships, schedule meetings and site visits, and qualify prospects.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field – MBA and/or engineering background is a preference
Minimum of three years of progressive Sales Excellence experience implementing commercial best practices, processes and analytics in a technical / consultative selling environment. Specific industry experience is not required, we are looking for the best “athlete”.
Minimum of three years' experience in sales or sales excellence working directly with external customers with a proven record of progressive success.
