Whether working with a team of colleagues or with clients, we ensure that we foster a culture that celebrates differences and builds on shared connections In This Role, You Will: Cvent has an opportunity in HQ for a Sales Executive, Professional Services position that will act as the primary sales and support resource for the Event Direct Sales & Account Managers for our Onsite Solutions (OSS) product, Attendee Hub Services (AH360). Your main responsibilities will be demonstrating our Solutions, scoping professional service needs and negotiating/closing deals. You will carry a renewal and a new-booked business quota, will be required to leverage solution-selling skills and work together with Event Cloud Sales and Account Executives to drive new business from both prospects and our existing customer base. What You Will Be Doing Collaborate with team to present Cvent’s OSS & AH360 Solutions to new prospects and existing Cvent customers to ensure strategic OSS & AH360 new business and renewals. Gather customer requirements, develop and deliver product demonstrations, and work with sales team to develop pricing recommendations. Create a vision of the value of Cvent’s OSS & AH360 and how the solution can solve the client’s needs by articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Identify all technical issues that go beyond the specification of our product and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Contribute to sales effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives. Assist with functional and technical elements of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Identify product enhancement requirements and convey these requirements to Product Management and Client Service teams. Providing sales with technical and logistical support as necessary. Work with Sales and Client Service teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction and collaborate with the project manager and team as necessary. Represent the Professional Services Sales team at field events such as trade-shows & industry events. Provide training and technical information to customers and sales staff, as needed. Log Salesforce activities for all Sales Executive, Account Manager and customer supported work, and develop and present supporting Salesforce reports as needed. Travel throughout your team's territories as needed to support the sales team. Here's What You Need: At least 2+ years experience (live event sales experience highly preferred) Excel at developing relationships over the phone Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast- changing entrepreneurial environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity Experience using sales automation products such as Salesforce.com and web collaboration tools like Zoom Industry experience and/or interest in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, mobile apps, analytics, and entertainment Physical Demands We are not able to offer sponsorship for this position.
