Sales Executive – Heavy Haul

About the role:
\nAs a Sales Executive for TQL’s Oversize and Overweight division, you will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and selling our heavy haul logistics services. We are looking for someone with direct business-to-business sales experience to build upon existing and new customer relationships. This is an opportunity to not only join one of the fastest growing initiatives at TQL, but to capitalize on uncapped earnings as part of the 2nd largest freight brokerage firm in the United States.

What you’ll be doing:
\n\nIdentifying, contacting, and closing large Oversize and Overweight account opportunities within an assigned geographic region\nEngaging with established TQL sales teams to target companies with medium and large heavy haul business\nActively working potential accounts through the sales cycle – initiating contact, building relationships, qualifying opportunities, closing, and onboarding\nCollaborating with sales reps and sales managers to create and deliver TQL oversize and overweight presentations to customers in-person, virtually, or over the phone \nWorking alongside the Pricing Team to develop customized and competitive pricing proposals \nAttending meetings and trade shows as needed\nTraveling to meet customers and prospects at least once a month\nCommunicating industry trends and market conditions to TQL senior leadership and customers\n\n
What you need:
\n\n2+ years sales experience in an industry with heavy haul transportation requirements\nBachelor’s degree preferred, but not required\nAbility to travel up to 25%\nHigh sense of urgency with a results-oriented focus\nOn call 24/7/365 to receive calls from carriers, clients, and TQL sales reps\nExcellent communication skills and relationship-building skills\nMicrosoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint\nSelf-directed with the ability to solve problems with minimal oversight\nStrong phone, and in-person sales, negotiation, and presentation skills\nAbility to work and learn in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities\n\n
