Sales Executive

In partnership with our client, one of Ireland’s leading insurance brokers we are seeking experienced sales executives for Dublin & Galway.

Our client provides a comprehensive insurance broking service to all business sectors and professions and their activities span the full range of commercial and personal general insurances.

Purpose: Increase volume of sales through prospect and new client development; and client retention by managing relationships and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve client satisfaction, and drive new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Build a network of professional relationships, identify new leads, and qualify opportunities that meet company standards as prospects.

2. Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relations with clients, as well as professional relationships with carrier partners and internal resources throughout the organization.

3. Conduct risk management surveys, determine insurance coverage needs, develop stewardship reporting and advise existing and prospective clients with insurance coverage options.

4. Provide continuous professional advice for improving the insurance and risk management programs of existing and prospective clients.

5. Secure and prepare documentation in the development of new business and renewal proposals and for the negotiation of quotes for placement of coverage by the marketing and service teams.

6. Present and sell new business and renewal proposals, including educational materials for value-add services, to prospective and existing client decision-makers, respectively.

7. Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex claims.

8. Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to the Insurance Coverage Review form.

9. Actively participate in social, civic, trade organizations and industry associates which will assist in promoting Profit Center’s image.

10. Promote teamwork within department and profit center through support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude.

11. Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal and external performance standards.

12. Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, technology, and continuing education required for valid licensing.

13. Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings.

14. All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Required:

· Valid Producer license in good standing, within 90 days of hire.

Preferred:

· College Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Strong technical knowledge of all lines of insurance coverage.

· Familiarity of agency management system and as well as other applications related to insurance sales.

This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
