What will I be doing?
\nThe Sales Executive will execute sales strategies that cultivate customer relationships to position both hotels as market leaders, fostering future and repeat business. You will be accountable for driving room nights, meetings and events as well as our dining venues. Specifically, you will:
\n\nMaintain, Develop & Grow existing account base as well as source new customer accounts, travelling within the local area to drive business into the hotels.\nWork closely with the above property sales team to exceed targets at hotel level and establish and nurture local relationships.\nNegotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.\nMeet and welcome top key accounts, group organisers and VIP guests upon check-in.\nPrepare company contracts and respond to RFP’s for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.\nCooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.\nProduce accurate and timely reports as required.\nRespond to customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.\n\n

What are we looking for?
\n\nHotel/hospitality and tourism sales experience is essential – preferably a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the local market.\nProven ability to achieve targets, through development of strong relationships with existing accounts, and continuously sourcing new business opportunities.\nYour commitment to deliver the highest level of customer service. We want someone who goes the extra mile and to be “that person” the client calls when they need something.\nGoal-oriented with obvious drive and self-motivation.\nExcellent communication, rapport building and presentation skills.\nPossess a willingness to be able to support colleagues in other areas of the hotel to achieve positive outcomes for guests/clients and the hotel - Team work makes the dream work!\n\n
