Job DescriptionThe Sales Executive for Cloud Managed Services is a critical role responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Devoteam's comprehensive suite of cloud managed services within the Belgium. This includes identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations. The Sales Executive will also be part of an EMEA team of CMS Sales Executives that share the same mission & operate in separate countries across EMEA. This team will also take part in creating a team that fosters collaboration, best practices and driving sales strategy decisions for Devoteam.
Hunt for New Business: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within target accounts and industry verticals in the Belgium market.
Develop Sales Strategies: Create and execute account plans and sales strategies to achieve assigned quotas and revenue targets within the Belgium.
Solution Selling: Understand customer needs and effectively position Devoteam's cloud managed services solutions, including cloud infrastructure management, application modernization, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, IT directors, and other key stakeholders across Belgium
Lead Generation and Qualification: Generate leads through networking, industry events, and online research, focusing on potential clients in the Belgium. Qualify leads and progress them through the sales pipeline.
Proposal Development and Presentations: Develop compelling proposals and deliver persuasive presentations to showcase the value of Devoteam's services.
Negotiation and Closing: Skilled in negotiation and closing complex deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Devoteam.
Market Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape, with a focus on the Belgium market.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal client teams (e.g., sales execs, solution architects, delivery teams) to ensure successful customer onboarding and service delivery.
Accurate Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on pipeline and deal progress.
QualificationsProven Track Record: 10 years of proven experience in selling IT solutions, with a strong focus on (cloud) managed services or related areas (e.g., cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity).Network of client relationships within the Belgium market with potential for Cloud Managed Services opportunities
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cloud computing market, including key trends, challenges, and competitive offerings, specifically within the Belgium
Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and managed services concepts.
Hunter Mentality: A proactive and results-oriented sales professional with a strong drive to exceed targets.
Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English and French is a plus, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
Relationship Building Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
Negotiation and Closing Skills: Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing complex deals.
Experience with specific cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related certifications.
Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
Extensive experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
