Responsibilities and Impact: S&P Global Market Intelligence Lending Solutions is seeking to hire a sales executive for our Investment Banking sales team. A successful candidate will oversee sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. They will also be tasked with prioritizing sales related activity, retention of existing relationships and the ability to upsell existing customers. Sales Executive Responsibilities: Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Reach out to customer leads through cold calling Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends Continuously improve through feedback, Sales Executive Requirements: Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Proven work experience as a sales representative Excellent knowledge of MS Office Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience need Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,192 to $244,700. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead high touch, consultative sales Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers Previous experience in a solution selling Ability to manage teams relationships and interactions with both existing and prospective customers Has a sense of social selling skills in using social media to find, interact with sales prospects Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
