KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for increasing brand awareness supporting the trade accounts in the UK to help maintain relationships, promoting Silversea and identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within assigned call list with the goal of increasing revenue with our Gold & Silver accounts and real estate shops. If you have excellent communication skills and passionate about sales we would like you to join our successful team to help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s ambitious growth plans.


General responsibilities:

Based 4 days on the road, following a specific call plan, visiting trade accounts Act as a point of contact and information for day to day queries, sales opportunities and general sales, commercial and marketing related queries Ability to build strong, professional relationships with Store Managers, Sales Managers and key decision makers within stores. To ensure optimum working partnerships in the development of the Silversea business Contribute to the overall brands sales growth by identifying new opportunities that can be executed across all different business models Prepare reports as requested to afford insight into the Brand performance On the road presence, regularly visiting trade partners following a weekly schedule (mix of cold calling and pre-arranged appointments) Training, in person/virtual Seek opportunities to increase revenue Occasional overseas travel Ad-hoc events in person/virtual Monthly webinars (to increase visibility and keep small/medium size accounts up to date with the brand and at front of mind) Attend Trade events (day and/or evening) Evening and weekend work required (time in lieu)

 

What you will bring to the role

Ability to build external relationships to seek further business opportunities Build strong retailer relationships, with key retailers Act as fulfillment point for any marketing lead agent recruitment campaigns ensuring appropriate follow up Collaborate with the Sels Team to identify and priorities business opportunities. Assist in departmental sales efforts to move soft sailings and last minute inventory.  Maintain accurate records of all agency interactions utilising company-supported technology tools and processes.  Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events when required.  Some weekend or evening work may be required.


Measure of performance:

Increased revenue in Gold & Silver Meet productivity targets – for example visiting a minimum number of agents per week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal day-to-day direction. Proven ability to achieve sales goals and drive profitable revenue growth. Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to tactfully deal with internal and external contacts both domestic and international. Must possess a positive, team-player attitude. Minimum 1 years in a sales role.  Cruise or luxury travel preferred. Fast learner and passion for sales Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations Proven ability to effectively qualify new leads and identify potential for sales growth Confident and engaging presenter and excellent communicator High standard of written and verbal skills.
