The Sales Forecasting Specialist is responsible for aggregating Sales forecast (short and long term) based on plans per account, in collaboration with Sales, Market Collaboration Lead and Product Availability Teams. Cooperating closely with defined key accounts this role is accountable for demand execution monitoring and providing Sales Plan visibility and cycle to cycle changes for Channel Heads and Market Collaboration Leads. The position analyses forecast performance and changes and works with the Sales team to drive initiatives that will enable the business to efficiently deliver on customer demand, drive efficiency in the supply chain and optimum on shelf availability. This role cooperates with Market Collaboration Leads to ensure customer plans matching production capacity and verifies potential deviation between Sales Account Plan and National Plan.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Create an aggregated demand forecast (0-18 periods) using customer plans based on customers’ demand and supply chain data, historical data, best practice planning methodology, accurate base and promotional forecasts.Drive annual bottom-up Sales Account Plan forecast for his/her customers incl. assumptions & base clean-up.Help to facilitate the Sales Account Plan meeting for his/her customers and discussions leading to the decision-making necessary to recommend the Sales Account Plan.Supports preparation to pre-DMR and DMR (Step 2 S&OP) meetings to present the consolidated customer forecasts for his/her field of activity (Sales Account Plan), supports decision-making, and guarantees the circulation of information relating to the Sales Account Plan between the different meetings.Collaborate with Market Collaboration Leads to ensure the agreed demand plan translates into production requirements and the product is delivered on time, in full to meet customer needs and MCL understand key Cycle on Cycle changes.Collaborating closely with sales to monitor demand plan execution and factors that influence forecast.Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to navigate Customer challenges and provide solutions as required to maximise on shelf availability.Analyses forecast performance and operational accurate demand forecasts.Manage and influence customers to drive business performance and pro-actively report on key KPI’s ensuring delivery of key customer service targets whilst driving efficiency in the supply chain.Utilise operational reviews, supply chain trends and sales achievements to proactively gain insights, identify issues and propose improvements solutions together with MCL. This includes accurate identification, analysis and reporting of data e.g. loyalty, market, new product forecast, pipeline fill, and cannibalisation.Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Sales Account planning process and S&OP+. The Sales Planning Specialist is to identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives of the processes in which he participates, both internally and externally, as well as support ad-hoc projects.

What are we looking for?

Min 2-years of professional experience working at similar position, preferably in a company from FMCG sector.Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.Strong numeracy and analytical skills and experience of applying a range of analytics that drive insights and actions.Ability to use processes / tools / systems to unlock knowledge and generate insights and develop solutions for a range of customers and issues.Understanding and application of the sales cycle, trends and broader business implications to making judgments and recommendations for action.Experience of building relationships in a cross functional environment.Previous experience building and managing relations with sales teams.Strong, practical knowledge of MS Excel.Very good English and Polish language skills required.
