Sales Governance and Strategy Head

Job Description The Sales Strategy & Governance Head covers the end-to-end monitoring of strategy health and execution of the group’s various strategic and transformation initiatives driving interventions where and when needed. He/she designs the governance framework capturing the parameters and targets by which each initiative will be measured against. In line with this, he/she ensures that stakeholders are kept informed and up to date of the health of each initiative by thorough automated reporting mechanisms as well as generating periodic comprehensive reports for our stakeholders. Furthermore, the head facilitates and orchestrates the critical decision making needed to correct and steer the strategic initiatives in close alignment with the various stakeholder groups.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Scorecard Management

Own the definition and/or refinement of SAM’s BSC mapped against strategy.

Owns the creation of an automated tracking mechanism to enable quick & timely publication and analysis of SAM BSC.

Ensures the timeliness of data tracking and accuracy of data capture to support the analysis of SAM outcomes.

Strategy Interventions

Drives proactive reviews to prevent misses vs targets and implementing mitigations to address risks in achieving target commitments. 

Owns the creation of corrective actions against identified performance gaps vs committed targets. 

Monitors and ensures completion of corrective action plans and mitigation plans.

Strategy Reviews

Assesses outcomes vs strategic direction.

Drives the regular reviews across relevant levels in SAM and SLT of the group’s performance against commitments.

Ensures follow-through and translation of key discussion points into action plans and/or strategy refinement activities during strategy reviews.

Strategy Communications

Ensures awareness of SAM’s strategy and its corresponding initiatives and/or action plans across all levels of the organization.

Works closely with Sales Enablement team to execute communication cascades and employee sensing. 

Creates strategic communications content to deliver the right message to the right set of audience. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Preferably with Project Management Certification and/or Agile Project Management Certification

Preferably 3 to 5  years of demonstrated experience working in the same field (Project Management, Process Management, Business Transformation)

Knowledge and exposure to different IT Solutions and Telco Industry

Knowledgeable on process best practices and process improvement principles

Soft: Strategic thinking, negotiation, risk management, communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, decision making, adaptability, time management and teamwork.

Hard:Telco understanding, project management, financial acumen & cost management, data analysis & insighting

Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field.
