Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe main missions of the role are to:
• Develop the appropriate intimacy with his/her contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs) :
o Preparation of support information and minutes
o Build relationships with key staff in the organization
o Monitor the level of the company's performance with the customer at regular intervals or after each significant step
• Prepare the commercial tracking to answer on due time to Internal requests:
o Get a good understanding of the costing files
o Monthly volume tracking and forecasting for each customer
o Consolidating and Validating supporting evidence for Customer tooling audits
o Formalize presentations with the appropriate wording.
o Understand and apply the guidelines proposed by the hierarchy regarding contractual management
• Serial Life:
o Tracking of customer ECRs (“Engineering Changes Requests”)
o Prepare and follow commercial productivity proposals (VAVE etc,..)
o Detailed understanding of piece price, tooling and D&D impact
o Monthly volume tracking and forecasting for each customer
o Follow the Variable Cost Margin of the products per program
o Understanding and commercial management of local economics (inflation, exchange rate)
o Understanding and rigorous implementation of the Sales Administration guidelines & processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment, overdues…)
o Commercial management for Spare Parts
• Programs:
o Act as Program Sales Stand In and be a part of the Program core team
o To learn and understand on a proactive manner
- The commercial background answers to the customer ECR
- Understanding of the Program Business Plan and associated commercial levers
- Follow the profitability of the Program
• Acquisitions:
o Participate in the Acquisition Team
o Understanding of the Business Plan & RFQA
o Preparation and update of the commercial offers following hierarchy’s instructions
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Business Masters Degree, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Engineering Degree or Equvalent Working Experience with a willingness to develop a career path in the business.
• Academic results above 70% in their final year whilst maintaining a 60% average over the duration of their studies.
• Fluent in English and if necessary, in the Customer language
• Understands client business, products and key competitors
• Strong Microsoft pack office skills (ppt,…) and reporting skills
• SAP (with costing updates)
• Comfortable with financials
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and capacity of empathy
• Business international mindset
• Results orientation, Client orientation, and Team player
• Good analytical skills and Accountability
• Must have SA citizenship.
