Are you a career driven student looking to take your first step into the world of software sales? Virtru is seeking a Sales Intern, like a full time Sales Development Representative. Candidates must be able to think on their feet, take initiative to assist their team, and be willing to contribute new ideas to already established processes. Interns will receive comprehensive training to prepare them for a rewarding sales career.
As a Sales Intern, your responsibilities will include:
Assist Virtru’s VP of Sales by organizing and carrying out sales-related projects Perform sales operations and administrative duties as needed Facilitate identification and qualify potential prospects Use sales and marketing technologies to prospect and manage your outreach (Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Hubspot) Connect with targeted prospects to deliver the Virtru value proposition Outbound prospect and generate qualified sales opportunities for sales reps. Outreach - this role calls, emails and LinkedIn messages regularly! Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service Assist with providing product information to prospective customersSkills that will help you thrive in this role:

In the Internship Cohort, you will be managed by your internship coordinator and HR advocate, Bella. Organized events, such as games nights, career workshops, and speaker series sessions are planned and executed specifically for interns.
As an important team member of Virtru, you will be included in company-wide meetings and events, including one-on-one sessions with your department’s executive leader (giving you a peek as to what it’s like working with us full-time)!. You will gain real-world, hands-on learning and contribute to critical elements of an enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) business. You will be joining a highly collaborative company, with the opportunity to reach out to anyone for questions, with a summer mentor and HR advocate to assist you with internal networking!

First week of Onboarding, just like a full-time employee! Weekly sessions with your HR advocate, 1:1 and in a group setting Two formal feedback sessions 1:1 session with Steering/Executive Leader Opportunity for in-office visit/mentorshipThis internship is for learners ready to work in a connected hybrid environment. While we are not a strict 9-5 work environment, you will be responsible for timely responses in Slack, email, and meeting attendance.
