Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesAs a Sales Leader, you will develop and maintain customer relationships, manage commercial offers, and oversee various programs and acquisitions. You will play a crucial role in driving sales performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Develop Customer Contacts and Relationships (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs):
Interface with customers at the first management level.Develop relationships with direct counterparts at the customer and assigned contacts within the sales network.Participate regularly in customer meetings (progress reviews, quality reviews, commercial global meetings).Monitor competitor activities.Prepare, check, and validate commercial offers to respond promptly to customer requests.Gain a thorough understanding of costing files (“hands-on” approach).Build and validate targeted pricing and negotiation tactics to convince customers.Ensure proper documentation of all prices and written communication to customers.Check the coherence of all offers and validate offers regarding technical changes and mandated components.Understand and apply guidelines proposed by the hierarchy regarding contractual management.Support claims negotiation at the appropriate level with the customer.Serial Life:
Responsible for on-time and profitable customer ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) negotiation.Detailed understanding of piece price, tooling, and D&D impact.Follow the Variable Cost Margin of the products.Coordinate or directly manage commercial productivity proposals with a detailed understanding of squeeze management.Understand and execute VA-VE commercial mechanisms.Deep understanding and commercial management of local economics (inflation, exchange rate).Rigorous implementation of Sales Administration guidelines and processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment, overdues).Oversee commercial management for spare parts.Programs:
Oversee several programs from a sales perspective for the responsible account.Support the negotiation of ECRs and claims.Follow the profitability of the program.Participate in CBU/Division Program reviews.Acquisitions:
Be a part of the Acquisition Team.Understand the Business Plan and RFQA.Prepare and update/improve commercial offers through negotiation loops.Develop and lead the execution of the lobbying plan to beat competition with satisfactory financials.Your profile and competencies to succeed Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management.Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience with a successful track record in various commercial assignments.Established personal relationships with one or two OEMs within the relevant markets.Skills and Competencies:
