Sales Manager, Americas
Summary

Manages and coordinates the company's sales function including sales support and training, territory sales, and key account sales to meet the company’s business requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Accountable for execution of agreed territory (Pigment) sales targets Accountable for margin optimization through price strategy and defined price approval process Accountable for the annual budget, monthly forecast cycle and weekly report update Accountable for key accounts and customer relationship management Accountable for market and competitive intelligence and visit report fulfillment through CRM Accountable for new lead generation and expansion of sales with the existing customer base Responsible for safe working practices Accountable for the area’s SG&A control and optimized resource spend through planning and time management. Accountable for working capital efficiencies via Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and forecast accuracy at SKU level. Responsible for managing the area’s agents and distribution channels as applicable Proactively liaise with operating plants. Responsible for customer complaint resolution Accountable for new product introduction at the customer level in an assigned area Responsible for communicating performance vs plan and KPIs, etc. Accountable for contract management and negotiation Supporting value in use with the customer base

Knowledge and Experience

Technical degree with advanced degree in business is preferred 12 plus years of heavy experience in business-to-business markets 8-10 years of significant experience in account management or technical sales is preferred Understand drivers in sales organization for profit growth Self-driven and highly motivated
