Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager for Contract Management Solutions is responsible for identifying and engaging procurement leaders to drive adoption of PRGX’s contract management services. This role requires deep knowledge of procurement processes, supplier contract negotiations, and contract lifecycle management. The ideal candidate has experience selling enterprise solutions to procurement teams, understands compliance and risk in contracting, and can effectively position PRGX’s solutions to improve operational efficiency and cost savings.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops and executes business development plans to meet or exceed sales, revenue, and other targets.
· Identifies procurement pain points, evaluates contract inefficiencies, and executes sales of PRGX’s contract
· management solutions to procurement and sourcing teams.
· Engages procurement and sourcing leaders to understand their contract lifecycle challenges and align PRGX solutions with their strategic objectives.
· Works with internal stakeholders to understand PRGX’s strengths and value proposition to develop sales strategies that result in sustainable and profitable growth.
· Develops tailored value propositions for procurement teams, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and supplier relationship optimization.
· Develops and executes strategies for lead generation, monitoring, and conversion.
· Leverages insights on supplier contract negotiations, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation to drive sales conversations.
· Mobilizes internal stakeholders to support new and current enterprise technology initiatives.
· Demonstrates effective use of PRGX’s sales process and the Challenger sales methodology to create differentiated client experiences.
· Proactively builds positive relationships to support PRGX’s goals.
· Oversees the development of proposals and contracts for new business opportunities and manages negotiations.
· Partners with Legal to finalize sales contracts.
· Remains abreast of market and industry changes and uses market intelligence to position PRGX for growth and success.
· Develops and executes plans to identify selling opportunities and to meet or exceed sales quota, revenue, and other targets.
· Communicates the value of PRGX’s products and services to clients.
· Engages the support of sales engineering, operations, finance and PRGX leadership as needed.
· Maintains accurate and timely records in Salesforce.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· A bachelor’s degree.
· Minimum of 6 years’ experience selling to procurement teams, supply chain, or finance decision-makers, with a focus on contract management, supplier negotiations, or sourcing solutions.
· Deep expertise in procurement and contract management, with a proven ability to sell into sourcing, legal, and supplier management teams.
· Experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract lifecycle management is highly preferred.
· Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
· Strong professional presence.
· Self-starter with a sense of urgency and desire to make an impact.
· Must be willing to travel within the United States up to 30% of the time.
