Job Description

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze, define, formulate, plan and execute a selling program for Teledyne TapTone equipment

into global markets

Maintain TapTone’s global pipeline on a daily/weekly basis to guide Teledyne TapTone’s business and manufacturing planningIdentify, hire and motivate manufacturer’s representatives to sell TapTone products. Establish goals and provide technical and sales assistance to the representatives. Administer programs to monitor the sales performance of the representative network. Schedule and administer representative sales in the territoryParticipate in decisions with engineering, production, accounting and top management to guide future and current businessAttend and support trade shows and professional societies such as PMMIAssist in the creation of promotional and advertising materialsDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, plus 5-7 years’ experience selling technical equipment, preferably related to liquid filling or inspection, in the food and beverage industryExcellent communicator, both verbal and written, with interpersonal skillsComprehensive understanding of liquid applications and related technologiesAbility to learn and understand complex technical requirementsExperience with managing Regional Sales personnel and Independent Rep Organizations in the Packaging Industry

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Have comprehensive knowledge of TapTone product lineHave comprehensive knowledge of liquid filling, capping and related processes within the beverage and food industriesHave ability to review an application and apply the correct product offering for a successful solutionProficient on Microsoft office productsExcellent organization, leadership and communication (written and verbal) along with presentation skills to effectively interface with all levels inside and outside the organizationPossess the ability and talent to close a sales opportunitiesAbility to navigate complex sales environment, Miller Heiman or other sales process training preferredSalesforce experience a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a global team

Regional Sales RepresentativesIndependent Sales Rep Organizations in the Packaging Industry
